[1] Mebbah Pojana [Malawi] is a Natural Resources Management Specialist employed by the Ministry of Agriculture in Zambia. He is currently the Head of Department at the Zambia College of Agriculture-Mpika. He also teaches at Kapasa Makasa University and Kasisi Agriculture Training Center. As a Senior lecturer, he teaches several courses among which is Aquaculture and Fisheries related courses. His areas of research interest are livelihoods, Native species conservation, exotic species integration and Climate change. Mebbah is in the final stage of a PhD programme in Aquaculture and Fisheries Science at the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources in Malawi.

[2] Agus Yadi Ismail [Indonesia] is a lecturer and researcher at Kuningan University, Indonesia with a PhD. His areas of expertise are Environmental Science, agricultural sustainability and tropical forest sustainability. Currently pursuing a professorship in the field of tropical forest conservation and sustainability at Kuningan University, Kuningan, Indonesia. My research focuses on agricultural sustainability, tropical forest curiosities. which is the basis of the focus of this research because the environment is increasingly degraded due to increasingly extreme climate change.

[3] Dr Foluke Olatona [South Africa and Nigeria] is an experienced Associate Professor who serves as the Public Health Nutrition Course Coordinator at the Department of Community Health and Primary Care, University of Lagos. She has a vast knowledge of Public Health and Human Nutrition, acquired through years of teaching and conducting research. Her research interests are multidisciplinary, focusing on dietary habits, prevention and management of undernutrition in children, pregnant women and other vulnerable groups, prevention and management of overweight, obesity, body image dissatisfaction and disordered eating, and community nutrition to prevent non-communicable diseases. Her ultimate goal is to prevent diet-related non-communicable diseases.

[4] Yusriadi Yusriadi [Indonesia] is a lecturer in public administration from Universitas Cahaya Prima in Bone Regency, Indonesia. In 2020, he was recognized as a prolific lecturer by Higher Education Service Institution Region IX in international publications. His primary research interests include food security, social capital, rural economic independence, and poverty alleviation. Yusriadi Yusriadi has contributed to 121 peer-reviewed research publications in Scopus-indexed international journals. His research endeavors have been supported by funding from the National Research and Innovation Agency, and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.

[5] Dr Eucharia Agom Ajah [Canada] is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Economics in the University of Calabar. She holds a PhD degree in Agricultural Finance from the same University. Her research interest are in the area of agricultural credits, rural financing, poverty studies, investment analysis, Farm accounting, Agribusiness etc. She has been teaching, researching, mentoring and contributing to the graduation of students in the University. She is a teacher par excellence. She has Co- authored over thirty articles in both local and international journals and has attended several conferences and has presented papers. She is married with four lovely kids.

[6] Ruth N. Olusanya [South Africa] , a PhD candidate in the discipline of Food Security, University of KwaZulu-Natal South Africa. My research revolves around the utilization of underutilized indigenous legumes and leafy vegetables for product development and value-adding to the indigenous/staple food for sustainable improved food and nutrition security of rural communities. A member of the Nutrition Society of South Africa and, the International Society for Horticultural Science. My experience, exposure, and knowledge acquired over the years on Food Utilization, Product Development, and Nutrition security, have made me passionate about Utilizing nutrient-dense food for value-adding to indigenous staple foods.

[7] Joyce Wangeci Wanjiru [Kenya] has been pursuing her Doctorate at the university of Nairobi Kenya, in the school of agriculture and technology, in Food safety and Quality. She also works at Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) in testing department with over six years of experience as a Biochemist. She has a vast knowledge and experience in food analysis. Her interest in research is on mycotoxin analysis in all food products. She has researched on different methods of mycotoxin decontamination where she has been embraced as an expert in the field of mycotoxin in KEBS organization.

[8] Mogeni Isaac Harrison [Kenya] is an experienced agricultural and food scientist. He is skilled in scientific research in the areas of nematology, soil science and food science. He is a researcher and a professional with an MSc (Crop protection) and BSc (Range Management) from the University of Nairobi. He has published in peer reviewed journals and presented in research and academic conferences. With over 12 years working experience in the tea industry working at the Kenya Tea Development Agency (KTDA). Mogeni has gained vast experience and key competencies in tea industry. His research interests are nematology, soil science and value addition.

[9] Dr Stephen Kwame Torkpo [Ghana] holds PhD degree in Crop Science from the University of Ghana, Legon. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in agriculture (Crop Science) from the same University. He is a Senior Research Fellow at the Forest and Horticultural Crops Research Centre of the University of Ghana. He is currently the Training Coordinator of the Centre. He serves on committees at the Centre and the College of Basic and Applied Sciences of the University. His research focuses on diagnosis, epidemiology, and management of viral and viral-like diseases of crops using conventional and molecular techniques; Ralstonia wilt disease of tomato.

[10] Dr Molatelo Junior Madibana [South Africa] is currently a Production Scientist for the Ministry of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment in Cape Town, South Africa. He holds an MSc in Aquatic Medicine (Marine Aquaculture) from Norwegian University of Life Sciences. His Masters project focused on soybean antinutrients in Atlantic salmon diets. He completed a PhD in Animal Sciences from North-West University in South Africa where he conducted research on nutrition of marine finfish, dusky kob (Argyrosomus japonicus). Dr Madibana has co-supervised 4 MSc students to completion and currently co-supervising a PhD student. He has interests in novel low cost feed protein sources.

[11] Ms Elizabeth Mahlangu [South Africa] holds a master’s degree in environmental health from Tshwane University of Technology. In her master’s research she investigated consumer knowledge and understanding of food labelling information. She is registered as an Environmental Health Practitioner (EHP) with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). She is working as an EHP at City of Joburg, specializing in food control, water quality monitoring, waste management, health surveillance of premises, prevention of communicable diseases, vector control, pollution control, disposal of the dead and chemical safety.

[12] Mazouz Lakhdar [Algeria] is a teacher-researcher at the University of Khenchela in Algeria. He started out as an agronomy engineer and worked at the Technical Institute for Market Garden Crops and Industrial Crops, before obtaining a master's degree in 2006 and working since 2008 at the University of Skikda and since 2012 at the University of Khenchela in the biotechnology, water and environment laboratory. His main areas of interest are agriculture and the development of sustainable agriculture based on the efficient use of fertilisers using efficient varieties, climate change and its effects on agriculture, and the use of agricultural by-products.

[13] Dr Sri Hidayati [Indonesia] is a professor at Department of Agricultural Product Technology, Lampung University, Bandar Lampung, Indonesia. She is currently the Head of Master of Science in Technology and Agroindustrial Program. Her current interest is related to the agro-industrial industry. She has carried out a lot of research in the field of processing plantation products, especially palm oil. Research on palm oil starts from processing palm oil into surfactants and its application in pressing petroleum, making red palm oil and its application for food products such as ice cream, mayonnaise, biscuits and noodles as well as conducting research on making pulp from palm bunches and isolating Lignin from waste products from empty oil palm fruit bunch pulp for prebiotics and antimicrobials.
