[1] Dr. Nadiyah Nadiyah [Indonesia] is an Associate Professor in Nutrition Department, Universitas Esa Unggul Jakarta, Indonesia. She is a Certified Sustainability Reporting Specialist (CSRS) from Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), and experienced program manager in implementing several nutrition projects across Indonesia. She has contributed her expertise as a nutrition consultant and project officer collaborating with some organizations such as the United Nations, state-owned enterprises and international non-governmental organizations. She holds master of science in nutrition from IPB University, Indonesia. Her research areas include: child-mother nutrition, micronutrient deficiencies, and the development of program using participatory action research. She is also the co-founder of the AAC Consulting Center, a platform committed to delivering integrated nutrition services through partnerships with government agencies and private sector entities.

[2] Dr. Victoria Kimindu [Kenya] regards herself as a transdisciplinary scientist. She is presently a Meat Scientist at the Beef Research Institute under the Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organization (KALRO). She holds a PhD in Food Science & Technology (University of Nairobi), a double MSc. in Animal-Derived Foods from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Meat Science) and University of Copenhagen (Dairy Science), and BSc. in Food Science & Technology (Egerton University). Dr. Kimindu’s research spans across animal-food-health nexus, covering food safety, antimicrobial resistance, slaughter hygiene practices, meat handling and preparation, novel product development, and value addition of animal-derived foods and by-products.

[3] Ms. Nompumelelo Xaba [South Africa] is a Food Security expert who holds a Master's degree from the University of South Africa. She is employed by the Government of South Africa in the Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, Land and Environmental Affairs. She works in the food security section of the Mpumalanga provinces department as an Agricultural Advisor. She is involved in programs that promote women involvement in agriculture and food security programs for school kids within the department as well. She is a firm believer in government assisting and empowering disadvantaged South Africans, especially women and children to have access to nutritious food to thrive in their day to day living. Her motto "Diligence and a heart to serve" drives her passion for food security.

[4] Mr. Abebe Endale Honja [Ethiopia] is a lecturer at Wolaita Soddo University in Ethiopia, with a Bachelor's degree in plant production and dry-land farming and a Master’s degree in Soil Science from Hawassa University. He has experience working as a Plant Production expert at the Agricultural Office in Damot Woyide District, and as Center Head at Soddo Soil Testing Laboratory before joining Wolaita Soddo University. He wrote a book titled “Bottle-necks of Soil Productivity and their Solutions”, which was approved by Wolaita Soddo University. His research initiative is site-specific crop-fertilizer management. Future research will focus on holistic soil fertility management. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Soil Science at Hawassa University, Ethiopia.

[5] Dr. Ida Bagus Made Agung Dwijatenaya [Indonesia] is an Associate Professor and currently serves as Director of the Graduate School of Kutai Kartanegara Tenggarong University, Indonesia. He holds a doctorate degree in economics from Udayana University, Bali, Indonesia; a Master's degree in economics from Hasanuddin University, Makassar, Indonesia; and an engineering degree in agricultural economics (agribusiness) from IPB University, Bogor, Indonesia. He has many years of experience teaching in the field of Development Economics, especially agricultural development economics. He is also active in research and participates in regional research projects in Kutai Kartanegara Regency, Indonesia.

[6] Dr. Osunbade Oluwaseun Adebowale [Nigeria] is a Food Scientist specializing in postharvest technology and food product development. He is skilled in innovative consumer survey tools like Jar-About-Right, Check-All-That-Apply, and focus group interviews. He has collaborated with IITA, Ibadan, developing a Standard Operating Procedure for cassava root mealiness and an innovative poundo flour. He holds a PhD in Food Science from LAUTECH and a Master’s degree in Food Technology from the University of Ibadan. A recognized researcher, he was IITA’s Scholar of the Week (Sept 18, 2023) and won Second Best 3MT Thesis at IARSAF’s 2023 Symposium.

[7] Bao Thy Vuong [Vietnam] completed PhD program in Food Technology from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, HCMUT, Vietnam. She holds a Master's degree in MBA program and a Bachelor of English studies. She is currently working as Dean of Health Sciences Faculty and Head of Nutrition Department in University of Cuu Long, Vietnam. Her research interests include nutrition, bioactive compounds, functional food, food safety and public health. She is a lecturer in Food Sciences and Technology. She is enthusiastic and passionate for teaching through inspiring her students to become incessant and independent learners in their learning and professional process.

[8] Cherotich Cheruiyot [Kenya] is a Senior Technologist at the University of Nairobi, Kenya, holding an MSc in Food Safety and Quality from the same institution. With over 10 years of experience in Food Microbiology, she plays a vital role in guiding both undergraduate and postgraduate students through practical laboratory sessions. She is currently completing her PhD in Food Science, Nutrition, and Technology at the University of Nairobi. Her academic contributions are significant, with numerous research papers published in peer-reviewed journals, reflecting her dedication to advancing the field of food science and microbiology. Her expertise continues to shape the next generation of professionals in the industry.

[9] Dr. Ir. Anang Lastriyanto, M.Si [Indonesia] is an expert in low pressure science (vacuum) and has been a permanent lecturer at Brawijaya University since 1990. He graduated from his doctoral education in 2014 at Brawijaya University. He is known as the inventor of the Horizontal Type Vacuum Frying Machine that uses a water-jet system. This invention earned him the Outstanding Intellectual Property Award in 2014 for the patent category. In addition, in recent years, Anang Lastriyanto has developed honey processing technology to produce powdered honey through an integrated process for 3.5 years, which aims to increase the added value of honey products. Through his dedication to research and teaching, Dr. Anang Lastriyanto has made significant contributions to the field of agricultural technology in Indonesia.

[10] Dr. Essolakina Magnim Bokobana [Togo] is a lecturer at the Institut Supérieur des Métiers de l'Agriculture of the University of Kara in Togo since 2018. He holds a Doctorate and master’s degree in Agroresources Science from the University of Lomé (Togo). He is Assistant Professor in Agronomy and Plant Protection. He is interested in phytopharmacy, and his research work focuses mostly on biopesticides formulations based on plant extracts, their toxicity towards bioaggressors as well as their phytotoxicity. He has 11 years of experience in this field of research, with twenty-four published articles coming out of his research activities.

[11] Kolawole David Adeyemi [USA] is a doctoral student in Nutritional Sciences at Texas Tech University. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from the Federal University of Agriculture in Abeokuta, Nigeria, and a Master of Science in Nutritional Sciences from Texas Tech. His research focuses on food insecurity, food environments, and non-communicable diseases (NCDs).

[12] Teshome Gedefa [Ethiopia] is a former lecturer and researcher at Aksum and Salale University, Ethiopia with a BSc. and MSc. in Animal Production. He is currently pursuing PhD in Animal Breeding and Genetics at Haramaya University College of Agriculture and Environmental Science, Ethiopia. His research focuses on status of artificial insemination and its constraints in east Arsi zone, Oromia region, Ethiopia. Future research interests is to develop the selection criterion and breeding program for smallholder’s dairy cattle producers especial for crossbreed dairy cow. He has sixteen years of teaching experience at universities.

[13] Dr Ndèye Fatou [Senegal] is a pharmacist, diploma obtained at Cheikh Anta DIOP University in Dakar, Senegal (UCAD), and researcher at Institut de Technologie Alimentaire in Dakar (ITA), Senegal. She obtained a Masters Degree in Nutrition and Human Food, at the Faculty of Science and Technology / Department of Animal Biology at Cheikh Anta DIOP University and a Doctorate in Nutrition and Human Food in the same University. His research areas include: micronutrient deficiencies, determinants of malnutrition in mothers and children, use of stable isotopes in human nutrition, development of nutritives local foods products and policies, programs and food systems. Dr. Ndiaye has conducted extensive research, published over 20 scholarly articles in peer-reviewed international journals, and presented talks at several local and international scientific conferences.

[14] Dr. Themba Andries Sambo [South Africa] is a Deputy Director: Agricultural Economics at the Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, Land and Environmental Affairs. Dr. Sambo holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics (University of South Africa), M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics (University of South Africa) and B.Sc. in Agricultural Economics (North West University). He is involved in supervision of postgraduate candidates in the University of South Africa. His area of expertise and research interest are on household food security, market access, economic viability analysis, economic efficiency, impact /evaluation assessment, agricultural finance, co-operatives development, poverty alleviation and feasibility studies and development of business plans.

[15] Skhephu Akhona [South Africa] graduated from the University of Fort Hare in South Africa with a Bachelor of Agriculture (Hons) in Agricultural Economics. His research interests include food security, climate change, and agricultural development. He co-authored several scholarly articles focusing on food security. Mr. Skhephu is dedicated to fostering sustainable development. Currently, he is pursuing a Master's degree in the same field (Agricultural Economics) from the Department of Agricultural Economics, Extension, and Agribusiness at the University of Fort Hare.
