[1] Anastacia AO Masinde [Kenya] is a Senior Research Scientist at Kenya Agriculture & Livestock Research Organization (KALRO), Food Crops Research Centre, Kitale. She holds a BSc Degree in Horticulture from Moi University and currently pursuing MSc in Horticulture at University of Eldoret. Is currently the Head in Horticulture and Industrial Crops section and also a member of Performance Contract Committee for Food Crops Institute at KALRO. Anastacia has worked in various projects including; Fertilizer Use Recommendation Research project/Fertilizer Extension projects, DFID; SMP-Rockefeller; KAPAP, EAAPP, USAID-Feed the Future, KCSAP Value Chain lead for Cabbage, NAVCDP, and currently she is a Research Extension Liaison Officer (RELO). Anastacia has won several research grants and has the ability to develop/formulate, design, implement and conduct, control, monitor, collect data, analyse, document and share findings. She has several publication in journals and conference proceedings.

[4] Dr. Saja Jawad [Iraq] recently obtained her PhD in Crop Physiology with plant tissue culture from the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Baghdad. She has devoted her research to studying drought in her country, Iraq, and methods of cultivating varieties resistant to drought water stress because of desertification and decrease of water resources in her country. She worked for the period 2009-2014 as a director of the Agricultural Unit at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Baghdad. She has published more than 10 scientific research papers in several international journals and is currently working as a professor at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Baghdad.
